Who we are

The Claw Bay provides API access, setup tooling, billing, and account management for GPT-based coding workflows. This Privacy Policy applies to our website, dashboard, billing flow, setup guides, and authentication flows.

What we collect

We collect the information needed to create accounts, deliver access, bill customers, secure the service, and support users. This can include your email address, account identifiers, plan and billing status, API key records, basic usage and event logs, support messages, and browser or device information needed for authentication and fraud prevention.

Payment card details are handled by our payment processor rather than stored directly by The Claw Bay.

Google sign-in and Google user data

If you sign in with Google or link a Google account, we receive the minimum account information needed to authenticate you and connect that Google identity to your The Claw Bay account. This typically includes your Google account email address, provider identifier, and basic profile data returned by the provider.

We use Google account data only for authentication, account linking, fraud prevention, account recovery, and support related to your login. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use Google user data for advertising.

How we use information

We use information to operate the service, authenticate users, issue and secure API access, process billing, detect abuse, troubleshoot problems, respond to support requests, comply with legal obligations, and improve reliability and product clarity.

Service providers and infrastructure

We use third-party providers to run parts of the service, including hosting, authentication, billing, analytics, chat, and communications. These providers may process data on our behalf only to the extent needed to provide their service to us.

Examples may include Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for billing, Vercel for hosting, and other vendors we use for communications or support workflows.

Retention and security

We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and comply with law. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect data, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can manage your account information in the dashboard, update login details in account settings, rotate API keys, and contact us if you need help with account access or data questions. You may also choose whether to use email/password login or Google sign-in.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
